IATSE High School Outreach and Career Pathways Training Program

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) High School Outreach and Career Pathways Training Program introduces students to below-the-line union career pathways in the film and television sector. The program is facilitated through a partnership between EIF, the California Department of Education, the California Film Commission’s AME Career Readiness Program, IATSE Local 80, and the Handy Foundation.

Courses are led directly by union professionals from IATSE, representing a range of below-the-line industry trades and crafts, such as lighting, camera, set painting, and costume. Students receive a certificate of completion at the end and receive priority access to industry union and career readiness pathway programs.
